From 2014 the Thai brand Grand Sport officially supplied the kits of the Vietnam Football Federation. Seven years with the team made it the national side’s longest-serving kit sponsor, ahead of Li-Ning and Nike before it.
The shirt launched in January 2021 took its cue from the star on the chest and the idea of spreading outwards; it was also the first time in Asia that a national team unveiled a new kit with an animated video. The set had red and white match shirts and green for the goalkeepers, worn by the men’s and women’s teams and the youth sides.
